Asst Prof Veerawat Sirivesmas

Assistant Professor Dr. Veerawat Sirivesmas after graduating his BFA in Sculpture from Silpakorn University (1995). He gained his diploma and work experience of Sculpture and Jewelry Design from Accademia di Belle Arti Florence and Istituto Europeo di Design, Milan, Italy (2001). He completed his Doctoral Degree from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, Birmingham City University UK in 2006. He worked at Department of Jewelry Design Silpakorn University, and collaborated teaching and service design projects of education to local industries. He became Assistant Professor and teach in Doctoral Program in Design Arts, International Program Silpakorn University. Supervising many Ph.D candidates from various nationality and design backgrounds made he interested and worked on cross craft and design disciplines under different of cultural contexts. He joins the university think-tank research team and conducts projects based on art, crafts and design that involved to social and community’s product development under the university and government research funds, which opens opportunities to collaborated cross-discipline with faculties of Science, Fine Art, Archeology, as Art and Social Lab.
