Derek Gascoigne

Derek Gascoigne is the State Manager for UniSuper Advice for Victoria and Tasmania. Derek has been with UniSuper for over 11 years and his career in financial services spans 23 years and counting. Derek has spent the majority of that time working with individual clients to improve and optimise their financial positions and help them provide for themselves a better retirement. Most of all, Derek enjoys providing reassurance to people over the adequacy of their financial position and removing the stress and worry that goes along with not knowing if they’ll be able to continue to provide for their needs or not. In his spare time, Derek tries to spend as much time off the grid camping and touring in remote areas of Victoria and Australia, coaches junior girls basketball and dreaming about getting out of lockdown.
